I booked the table two months ago through The Fork and was looking forward to dine in there. However, the environment is terribly noisy. The waiters was talking to each other loudly and it’s the first time I heard the people who ate crab could make such the noise. The food was just so and so. Will never come back again.

Really disappointing service. I have never heard a waiter said “tell me” to start the ordering. They just put bread on table and didn’t ask whether we need the bread or not and didn’t mention it was not free. We know that 3 € is not a big problem but running business by this way is really disgraceful. You guys cannot represent every restaurant in Portugal.

This restaurant is on the must visit list due to its appearance on Netflix program on travel. Personally speaking it is over-hyped. While the food was good, it was nothing special. The service is not great. I think you can get better food elsewhere.

The restaurant lived up to the hype! Excellent seafood selection - some food we had not seen elsewhere. Fast service and food was made well. Steak sandwich the best we’ve had so far!

I had a great experience today, felt like a VIP when I was escorted up the stairs to my seat. The waiter was attentive and helped me understand how to eat some of the seafood like goose barnacles and spider crab, and even cracked some of the legs for me! Everything was fresh, delicious, and local (except tiger prawns from Madagascar, but that was delicious too). I was laughing with the server and the couple seated next to me the entire time. Can’t wait to come back with my parents in the future!

A fabulous restaurant and a highlight of our short visit to Lisbon. Great atmosphere: no music, no silence - just the rumble of people eating and conversing. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. Oh ... and the food was great!

The servers were very snooty and not very helpful with the menu. We heard a lot of great things about this restaurant but definitely don't understand the hype. Would recommend to go elsewhere

Our server(s) Jorge from Argentina and Ricardo were fantastic. Food is OK. No sides Just bread. Definitely had a higher expectation. If you want to go with The hype you could visit.

There was an issue with booking. I booked 1 month in advance. Received confirmation email about it. Confirmed the reservation via app. When we arrived my name is not on the list. I showed the lady in reception the app with confirmation- she said it does not mean anything . I told them 4 of our friends are inside already ( we book separately for 2 groups because we were 8 and booking via The Fork App has limit to 4 people only) .Still lady in the reception wont let us in. We insist in getting in she then called the manager- I told and showed her the confirmation - she still won’t let us in! We had to call one of our friend who booked (the other 4 separately) and that’s the only time they let us in. It took almost 15 min!!!

Menu is literally just seafood, bread and dessert - no salads or sides. Biggest issue though was the surprise cost of the crab. It is listed on the menu at a per kg price, but they don’t give you any idea what that will translate into. One crab cost over 300 euros.

Ramiro is an experience all unto itself. It’s noisy, crowded, and service is rough But the shell fish is amazing Had prawns in garlic sauce that was great Oysters were a disappointment Served with just lemon and Tabasco. Very small for $3 each

Excellent seafood and extremely fresh. We had the spider crab and giant tiger shrimp. They bring the live crab to the table before cooking. Both were amazing. Service was excellent. Our first server was rather impatient and abrupt but the second server they gave us was wonderful. We had French, Italian, English,and French Canadian guests and he could converse easily with all of us. Food is simply prepared to let the seafood shine. Don’t expect a lot of sauces and other than potato chips there are no side dishes. It’s a bit expensive but you won’t be disappointed. A local taxi driver told us they have a different price menu for tourists. Not sure if that is true though.

An absolute must for anyone traveling to Lisbon. Anthony Bourdain put this place on the map for tourists, but the locals have known about this place for years so do not be concerned about walking into a trap like you will find on Chiado district.. Seafood is simply prepared but executed perfectly, and as fresh as it can come. Don't skimp on the prego sandwich after. Could be the best sandwich in Lisbon, and that's saying something considering the amazing bifanas you can find around town.

This restaurant is really for tourists. Expensive. Nothing special. Spent 275 euro for five persons for dinner. Everyone still feels hungry. We ordered 5 pieces of scarlet Shrimps, 1.35 kg, total 123 euro (not worth it to eat as each shrimp is too small to eat). This restaurant does not provide any tap water, only bottle water with fee. This restaurant is not in a good neighborhood.
