About the restaurant Château de Locguénolé

Our two evening meals at Chateau de Locgeunole were very enjoyable. It is a very special place to stay and the restaurant is a fitting complement to this exceptionally beautiful and characterful hotel. The staff is particularly kind and professional. The chef is talented, the wine list is moderately extensive and the menus are fairly priced. We liked the fact that the portions were of sensible size, allowing you to enjoy the beauty and variety of each course without feeling that you had eaten too much. A nice selection of local cheeses!

Classic french cooking lightened just a bit for the modern age. The visual presentation of the dishes, from the kitchen, are truly artistic, adding to their enjoyment. The service is superb, and reminds me of "the old days" when being a waiter was a respected and long term profession. Extensive wine list.
