4/10We stayed at the Chateau de Mercues for 7 nights. We had dinner with them 4 nights. One of those dinners was at Le Dueze for the full menu. Several dishes were poorly prepared and one was cold. The wine list features the wines from their own estate which are mediocre and overpriced, with few attractive options. The wines by the glass were 4 ounce pours for 16+ Euros! The young staff seemed nervous about the kitchen's efforts, except for the young lady who was seemingly in charge of the dining room who was arrogant, disinterested and rude. We learned that the executive chef was opening his own restaurant in Cahors in the near future - perhaps he was no long interested in the dining room of the hotel - and it showed. It was not a Michelin star experience. I would not eat there again until a new equipe is in place.

10/10Wonderful location, the food met all expectations and a few courses exceeded expectations. The very young room staff was excellent. A fabulous overall experience.

10/10The restaurant is located in a centuries old chateau. The combination of the old world and modern cooking is extraordinary. Wonderful staff. Most memorable.
