Onde o Comensal é Autor. O restaurante Cheddar – Grill & Fondue situa-se mesmo à beira da praia de Matosinhos e tem um ambiente calmo e acolhedor.
Ideal para um jantar romântico ou confraternizações em grupo, tem uma atmosfera cosmopolita que se divide em três conceitos: o fondue, a sala de chá e as artes. Nestas dimensões, que acabam por se complementar com naturalidade, o comensal é o principal autor do que por lá se degusta, municiado, claro está, pelos produtos de qualidade que a cozinha com ele partilha.

A small, very pleasant place, well decorated and with an excellent range of fondues and some other dishes too, and also an interesting wine list. The staff were, perhaps, a little over-stretched, but the service was still quick enough for a busy night. The portions were fine - almost too much, and the quality of the meat (in our case) and the oil was excellent, and a pleasant change from other fondue restaurants.

Cosy fondue place. In Porto - it's the only fondue place that i know of. The dinner was very nice. Be prepared for a long meal, because it takes time :)

Despite the very good food, the overpriced menu, particularly for the wine and mains, is not compensated by the 30% discount. Beware of the fine print!
