Didn’t get a warm welcome - booked through the Fork but rhe waiter said they had no record of the booking. I showed the waiter my email booking reference. Reluctantly he found us a table. We asked for the wine menu. It was literally thrown on the table. We waited ages for our drinks and then for our food order to be taken. There was a Londoner singing - Darren Paul. Full of expats over the age of 60. Very cliquey- we were made to feel like outsiders spoiling their private party. Food was okay but disappointed with the way we were treated - as if we were an inconvenience. I’ve been before and enjoyed it there. It was busy - a pity the owner didn’t make visitors feel welcome and help serve the customers - he spent his time dancing and chatting with the expats he obviously knew.

Pork was really dry. My daughter enjoyed her vegetarian carbonara. I also had Aperol Spritz and it was quite flat.

Initial impressions were mixed. We had booked a table and had it confirmed the day before but no table was ready for us when we arrived at the allocated time. This was rectified quite quickly. The atmosphere felt like we were at a garden party which was nice but ended up marred by a large birthday party that were there. People taking over the space and standing over us made us feel hemmed in. We obviously chose the wrong night to go. Food was served promptly and acceptable - nothing fancy. Entertainment was OK. Would go back but hopefully not when there is a birthday party going on.

Loved this wee restaurant. Staff lovely and Carlos is a star. My husbands chilli was delicious. My vegetables were perfect with delicious potatoes but my pork was just a wee bit dry. Wouldn't stop us going bacthk. Good music and seemingly they have live acts some nights. Would recommend

Our 3 year old ordered the chicken strips and chips. When it came the chicken was raw. No apologies they took it away and reheated the dish still cut up as we had left it. Had to ask for a new dinner. Still no apology. Extra items added to bill that were never ordered. Whole experience put us off our dinner and want to leave as soon as possible however it took nearly 10 minutes to get the servers attention.

We called here for Sunday lunch, having being here before, but we didn't have the same experience as before, I ordered Pork, waiter came back Pork not on, had prawn Salad instead and was tasty, husband order Canarian potatoes with his Chicken, Waiter brought his out, then said to him Canarian potatoes off, and had Chips on the plate, I think standard has changed and not sure if we would return for food again.
