10/10This was such an excellent and memorable experience for me . The food was superb and the service was stellar! I would go back in a heartbeat. It really is a gem and one of the best in Bordeaux!

7.5/10The restaurant was very busy and seemed a bit overwhelmed, but trying. Did not care for the "tablet" menu, but probably sign of the times. Food good, not excellent. Golf ball size lumps in what was otherwise an excellent potato puree, sign of being a bit overwhelmed? Long-cooked lamb cooked a bit too long (dryish). In sum, food good but not excellent.

10/10Love this restaurant and have dined here many times before. It never fails to be so typically French with wonderful food and great atmosphere. We come back to Bordeaux just to enjoy it here.

10/10Our restaurant experience at Chez DuPont was outstanding. Exceptional Service… and I mean Exceptional… professional and friendly with attention to all the details AND very supportive of English speaking diners with a limited knowledge of the French language. Our service went out of his was to make us feel welcomed and appreciated! The food quality was outstanding, we enjoyed appetizers and a variety of entrees and all dishes were delicious and presented in harmony with perfect temps. I’d highly recommend this restaurant

10/10Great service, atmosphere, food. Best we have had in Bordeaux. Will be back weekly for a month. I had lamb shank, perfect, my wife had scallops. Both had entre of Burrata tomato salad. great wine choices and help from serveurs..

10/10Fantastic eating and service experience. They gave us a better table at the simple comment that the one assigned to us was very good but not great. These guys know their trade, enjoy what they do. And you eat and drink as if you were in heaven.

4/10We selected this restaurant based on the recommendation in the NYT article “3 days in Bordeaux”. The food was disappointing and the service was quite bad. Even though we were one of the first tables seated for the evening we waited 20 minutes for a waiter to make an appearance. While the pacing of the meal was fine, the wait staff was largely missing and made no attempt to see if see if we were satisfied with our main courses. While the sole my spouse had was “ok” the tuna, which I had ordered rare, arrived basically well done. Clearly both plates had been left under a heat lamp for a while before being delivered to our table. By far, the worst meal we ate in Bordeaux.
