We booked a table at Chez Francis having read an excellent review of the restaurant in the Sunday Times. The experience was every bit as good as the review! The decor is that of a traditional French brassiere but with comments and pictures scribbled all over the walls and ceiling by appreciative diners. It is a family-run affair - Madame who is charming is front of house and her husband and son do the cooking. We had one of the three course set menus; the food was delicious and the quail and lentil veloute starter was a highlight. We will definitely return.
We had a very good time at Chez Francis. The meal was perfect and the staff very friendly.
Bon restau de Brive, un peu cher.
I was to late. Had to be there at the glorious times of the '90.
Very pleasant ambience and friendly and quietly efficient service. the decor is charming and everything was as it should be. We enjoyed the evening
