We booked through TripAdvisor & on arrival were greeted by Paul (the owner) he knew are names & introduced himself (nice touch). Both Paul & the waiting staff were very friendly & although as it often seems when eating out on holiday the staff were a little over stretched, they reacted pleasantly when requested, rather than being attentive. But hey it sometimes adds to the atmosphere (a bit of hustle & hustle). The food was nice, but I couldn't say great. As with so many of these types of restaurants they have a limited offering, expecting kids to eat both adult menus & portions. Yes our kids loved the Steak & Fries (waiting a while for some mayo, but this is a kids thing, not a fancy restaurant I guess), but they both left a sizeable amount because the portions were huge. The Starters were both big enough to be a main & both my wife & myself thought each dish was under seasoned (but better than being over seasoned I guess). So a good experience & evening, rather than a great one. 8/10 I think is a fair score

Fresh and well cooked food - small menu of fish, meat and pasta. Lovely setting in square by Hotel de Ville, where you could watch life going by. Friendly, but not over-bearing, staff.

We had the perfect, leisurely Sunday lunch on the terrace. Food, service were great. Location and ambience in the medieval village -- charming.
