I thought that the food was good - original and tasty. The place though I found utterly uncomfortable. The bench, on which I was seated made me perch over the table like Tour d'Eiffel over the Seine. The table was so narrow that pressed between two neighbors I was unable to even spread my cutlery enough to eat. Two people had to get up and maneuver with the furniture to set me free at the end, one of them getting actually out of the restaurant to the street. The noise was also deafening, including the loud laugh of the owner. I suppose I didn't perceive it as charming only because it felt below the minimum level of comfort and privacy.

The Owner/Chef is always fun and upbeat. We have eaten there on several occasions and the food is consistent. Warning on the spicy/hot sauce he puts on the table...extremely hot!! The rum drinks are homemade and make you feel like you are in the Caribbean. The only thing I wish he would do is have an English menu so he wouldn't have to translate it for me.
