Perhaps the best galettes and crepes I've found in Paris. The service was impeccable. The flavors were perfect. The presentation was great. I look forward to the next time I get to visit.

Très belle decouverte. De bonnes galettes comme on aimerait savoir les faire ! On se retrouve rapidement dans le charme Breton.

The food is great and it's the fifth time we are back. The staff is kind and quickly. The choice of wines is limited (3 red wine from 25 to 35 euro). We didn't appreciate - or better we were shocked - to pay 7,50 for a bottle of Badoit: it's crazy, even for Paris! We love this place and we will be back, but probably we will drink beer and not water.

The meal was delicious! The fillings were well-balanced and substantial. The crêpes themselves were perfectly cooked; thin and delicious. We would definitely come back, which is saying a lot since we live in France and there is a crêperie on every corner.

We made reservations, and although they didn't seem to be needed for 7:30 on a Wednesday evening, it was nice to get the 20% discount. The ambiance was pleasant and the server friendly.

I got the Raclette (most expensive crepe!)-- ham, cheese, creme fraiche, onion confit. It was amazing! Nice and crispy on the edges and the galette itself had a nice flavor. But the layering of elements inside the crepe was super yummy. I also had the glass of the house white, which complemented it well. My son had the ham and cheese and egg and he said it was also very good.

The dessert crepes were ok but not great-- I got the chocolate Maison and my son has the Lemon Special.

Overall, we were very happy with the meal.

The crepes were incredible - the best we've ever had anywhere. We had two dinner crepes and shared a dessert crepe. We will definitely be returning to Chez Maxence.
