The pasta was very undercooked and the chicken was dry and un seasoned. The staff were attentive and pleasant but not ore best experience there today.

2 meals the chicken was hard to cut sent them back and received 2 lovely meals but this meant 2 of 8 were sat with no food while others ate. A large band turned up (even staff didn't know about until last minute) very good but too loud for restaurant on a Tuesday evening. I would have liked to finish with a coffee but when l saw the working man mugs it wss served in put me off in all fairness l didn't ask if they had any different cups as I'd already complained about meals. Use the Churchillian quite regularly for meeting friends for lunch and never had complaints before.

We all had fish and chips with mushy peas. I like a crispy batter on my fish but whilst the fish was ok the batter in places was soggy. Food wise everything was cooked from frozen and not freshly cooked. I would go back and try something different on the menu because the views are outstanding and it has a good atmosphere.

We found the venue was in a fantastic location and the food was good, but my wife's mashed potato was lumpy which was a pity. Over all a nice experience although the outside of the building looks dated and in need of a bit of TLC.

This restaurant is local to us and has come along way over the years with refurbishment, new menus and lovely staff. The food was nice and what was particularly great about Wednesday night was they had a really good magician approaching tables too. I had the bacon topped cheese burger, it says belly pork but it’s bacon - very yummy

Our reserved table was not available on arrival. Menu limited - no fish & chips (on a Friday ) , or mixed grill plus other bits and this was early evening. After ordering deserts, 30 minutes later without any mention of a delay we cancelled the order and went without ! A disappointing experience for a Birthday celebration. Not recommended .

1st lunch at The Churchillian. Glad we booked ahead, as it was very busy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food arrived reasonably quickly considering how busy they were! My friend had the smokey Joe burger & chips, which was very good. I had some light bites of mac cheese bites, chicken chorizo skewers and fried chicken goujons. The goujons were just right, but the skewers were rubbery & overcooked. The mac cheese bites were overcooked too, so dry & not cheesy, but had a tasty coating. I think this was probably due to being so busy. We'll definitely return, but maybe at a quieter time. Staff were lovely.

Have enjoyed Churchillian in the past but Friday was very disappointing 3 main meals unavailable and 2sweets unavailable Asti was a birthday meal disappointing chips dry will think twice about returning. ????

a hearty welcome with table ready and waiting. Service was swift and unobtrusive with all meals being as ordered and well prepared. Glad we booked as other larger parties were out that night. Will definitely be back to try some of the other offerings.
