This was my second time to Citron, and that's saying something: It was so good that I decided to come back! The food is of outstanding quality, but there are some things that are better than others. The Kibbeh Vegetariana are delicious! I will probably order this every time I go. You won't miss the meat, but I am curious to try the Kibbeh Croquettes (with meat) the next time that I'm there. I've order the Fried Cauliflower with Tahini Sauce both times. It's a new favorite. The Muhammara was too sweet for my taste, and the Esfiha da Carne were just meh. The appetisers are pretty pricey for what you get. (Also be aware that there is a 5 euro charge for the couvert that they bring to the table when seated, consisting of thin bread and a few olives with two small dollops of herb crusted goat cheese.) I've tried two of the shwarmas: Frango e Alho, which is more like a creamy chicken salad, not grilled chicken like I'm accustomed to, but very flavorful (especially if you love garlic!) and the Falafel Wrap, which had tender chunks of falafel, but I was not a fan of the pickled radishes. Both times I ordered their housemade lemonada which is sweet and lightly flavored with orange blossom. The beverage is a great complement to the food. The ambience is updated and modern and the service was sufficient. There are a number of employees working there, and they all seem to be working diligently and with purpose. I would highly recommend this place for any of my out-of-town visitors. I will definitely return for some standard favorites and to try some new things!

Escondido atrás de uma porta antiga na Rua da Padaria, bem próximo da Igreja da Madalena, fica essa pequena jóia da cozinha libanesa. Ambiente acolhedor, com sofás e decoração colorida, serviço atencioso e pratos autênticos. De negativo apenas a pouca opção de vinhos a copo (havia apenas um branco e um tinto). À repetir!

The food is good but w/out the Fork offer I think it’s overpriced. I haven’t paid €10. for a salad without meat or fish anywhere else. Not sure I’d be inclined to do so at regular price. Also when I eat out, I’m looking to relax and enjoy conversation with my companion. When the music interferes with relaxation and conversation, it’s detracting not adding to the ambiance. I would like it here much more if the music was calm & soothing (soft jazz or classical) so it didn’t compete with normal conversation.

Recomendo bastante. Estava muito gostoso e com o desconto do festival The Fork ficou uns 18 euros para cada. Éramos dois e pedimos três entradas, dois pratos quentes, uma bebida e o couvert. Os ganhadores da noite foram o warak enab (charutos de folha de videira) e o kibbeh vegetariano. Destaque para o atendimento. Funcionários muito atenciosos e ambiente agradável e bem decorado. O cardápio com fotos está disponível no site do restaurante.

É uma boa experiência de sabores, diferentes e intensos,alguns a roçar a extravagância. A sala tem uma decoração agradável e simples, mantendo a traça dos prédios antigos de Lisboa. O atendimento apesar de simpático temos em alguns casos de falar em inglês para facilitar o atendimento. A nível de preço julgo exagerado para o tipo de comer e respetiva qualidade.

The space is nice and the food is interesting. However pricey , 30 euros a bottle of wine and 6.50 a glass is not acceptable... beer was served in a glass of wine. plus we were gently kicked off of the restaurant because they were closing. However we had to wait for our table to be ready so we found it very impolite to just deliver us the bill. It was ok
