Lamb brains was so good yesterday that we returned today - NOT AVAILABLE! Why didn't kitchen tell the waiters (and strike off the poster menu) who took our orders?! We could have gone to another restaurant instead. This happens so often at Club Southside.

The Staff at the Southside Club are fantastic, nice and friendly. Our steaks were good and we totally enjoy our meals, our friends 2 steak meals were tuff and they didn't enjoy their meals. Unfortunately, it can be hit and missed with the meals you get at the Club.

The portion of lamb brains (main dish) has shrunk considerably. Think the entrees are larger! Love lamb brains but not going to pay for three lamb nuggets.

We booked through the Fork to this restaurant in second time round and this time we both ordered roast of the day via the kitchen and coffee via the Cafe' . This time the pork was a bit dry but quantities were big. It was quite noisy and we were sitting among the elderly :)

Food was very well presented, tasty and good value. The staff were friendly and served us quickly, but didn’t really explain how we get our meals or what would happen and we hadn’t been before. Club is beautifully presented, but a little noisy. Overall an excellent experience and will be back.

Once again, was given the wrong Senior Lunch Menu over the phone. When are they ever going to get this right? Does someone in Club Southside actually pay attention to Fork reviews? Apparently not.

I have been a member of Club Southside for approx 2 years. Our last couple of visits to the main restaurant & Cafe have been very disappointing. We have 4 of us that have Coeliac Disease & alot of the gluten free options have been removed from the menu & we waited at least 50 minutes for our food to come to the table. On both of our visits in the last week we have had to ask staff when our food was likely to arrive. So disappointing that people who were in the line behind us had received their meals.

We were really impressed with the crumbed lamb cutlets (new Senior lunch menu?). Hope they still offer it next week and we'll surely be back. Mashed potatoes, brocollini, beans, peas, gravy... perfect.

We arrived at 6pm, collected our drinks on way to our table. Then for the next half hour, the table near us had a small young child screaming . Ordered Vegetable Lasagna and received Beef Lasagna. Could have taken it back and asked for exchange, then I would have eaten alone as my friends would have finished their main meal. When we went to order our dessert, they only had yo yo biscuits so yes staff were great but food was below par. to exchange The only dessert that was available was Yo Yo biscuits

Food and drinks were excellent. The restaurant was crowded but the food was served pretty quick. Waiter Erich was excellent - polite and considerate.

I made a reservation for 3 people in advance, but there was no room, so I had to eat at a cafe. It was a little uncomfortable because it was not a place to eat.

Gnocchi was superb as usual; Lambs' brain was excellent - WOW. Hopefully same senior lunch menu next week. Bar staff (Amber) as cheerful and helpful always.

We have Lunch today on our day off work, I have ordered the Roast of the day and my wife ordered Fish and chips from the cafe. We also had 2 coffees from the Cafe as well. Thanks to my wife whom has a membership card so all food were in discounted price.

First time we visited the club on a weekday for lunch. Usually only weekends. We were pleasantly supplied at the ambient atmosphere and great staff. we are two couples of senior status and we took advantage of the seniors lunch time specials. Will definitely be returning on weekdays now to avoid the weekend rush. All in all a very pleasant afternoon.

We have had Spinach & Ricotta Ravioly ordered from the cafe menu three times at this venue. The first two times the tomato sauce had a home made taste and texture with added creaminess. On the night of 24/01/2023 the sauce was atypical Italian taste in that the tomato sauce was sweet to the point that even though cracked pepper was added the sweetness dominated its taste. Don't do sugar sweet sauces for pasta please. An Italian
