We were very disappointed with our meal. It took over 2 hours to have dinner due to over an hour between appetizers and main course. There were also several items on the bill that we did not order and needed to have them remove. One entree was good, but another member of our party had a clearly burned entree- no restaurant should have served something clearly burnt. They did not even offer to remake the item or remove from the bill. I encourage you to look elsewhere.

I needed a nice restaurant for an impromptu birthday dinner. Even with the late booking, they still managed to make my day extra special. Great service all around. I can only recommend it.

Our green salad starter was terrific but, sadly, the rest of the meal was not. My chicken cordon bleu was … okay. My wife’s pasta was bolognese sauce was … okay. Dessert was okay. With some house wine the meal, pre-discount, ran to about CHF 100. This was not a CHF 100 meal even for pricey Basel.

Nicely decorated restaurant with professional service and good Italian food. It was the best bruschetta I have ever had, from a visual standpoint but also very tasty. The other dish was good, but nothing exceptional. Overall a good experience. Central location so better to go by public transportation.

The food was excellent. I started with a mixed salad and then had the lasagne. The portions are sized correctly and it was good value for money especially as we received a discount for booking on the Fork. Would recommend and will certainly come again next time we are in Basel.

The food was one of the best food I had in a while. The restaurant doesn’t only serve Italian food but also some European food (ex: French). Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the dessert including the main and the drinks. The waiter was very friendly and managed to adapt between the different languages present at the table (French and German). I strongly recommend this restaurant.
