Confraria do Polvo

The restaurant has a good presentation and a good atmosphere. The service was simple, friendly and attentive. The food is good but in my opinion it left a lot to be desired. At "Pataniscas de Polvo" were good although they had high expectations. I ordered "Polvo à Minhota" and was a little disappointed. At first it seemed like it was little because the dish is small but in the end I saw that it is enough, but the dish itself, I think the corn bread was "dry" and not very tasty and made the dish very uninteresting. Don't ask for sangria, a bottle of wine is better. The ambient music is very good but I am suspicious because I love John Mayer.

A repetir!

What an interesting concept having a restaurant dedicated to octopus. But it works (assuming you like octopus). And if you don't, the cod was equally delicious, although it took a bit longer to prepare and the person in our party who ordered it had to wait while the rest of us ate, which wasn't great. But it's a great little neighbourhood find and with The Fork booking discount, it was a real deal.

Um hino ao Polvo

The carrot rice was really good. My potatoes were extremely salty. The octopus was delicious and really well prepared. The starters could be better.

The feijoada and the pataniscas were really good ,they only had one desert a cheesecake that was good but nit my favourite desert, no fruit!

Comida excelente. Polvo frito com aćorda de alho 200% recomendado.

Good food ( a pitty they were missing the "polvo à galega" ), nice service and topped with the discount from The Fork. Definitely an experience to repeat!
