Excellent
Lovely, friendly staff, excellent food and beautiful presentation. The amuse bouche of artichoke veloute and a duck croquette was delicious. We tried all 3 starters (beetroot and goats cheese, smoked salmon, pork belly) and all were excellent. Main courses of fillet of beef and fish were full of flavour and again beautifully presented. We were too full for pudding but coffee came with petit fours including macarons and Passion fruit Turkish delight.
Superb food. Chefs appetisers were amazing. They even did pasta just for our kids. Great value for money too. Worthy of a Michelin star! We’ve eaten in many Michelin restaurants and this is on par if not better!
Canterbury is a lovely town and this is a gem, maybe a little on the expensive side but they do a deal on 2 or three course and it was well worth it. Went for my girlfirends bday and both agreed it was top. The bar after was lovely for a few more drinks too!
Lovely food, lovely staff. Unfortunately had a warm beer which wasn’t the nicest to drink. Food was absolutely lovely just portions are very small especially when your big eaters for the money. But all in all we had a lovely time with great service.
Couldn’t fault anything
Had the Valentines tasting menu. The menu itself was great and full of the types of dish we would be happy to order. All of the dishes looked wonderful and tasted as good as they looked.
