8.5/10Excellent service- our waitress was warm and professional, despite being the only waitress & dealing with a number of tables. A great night out and tasty food at good value. Definitely recommend and we would all go back again!

9/10Nice restaurant and very attentive staff, who wanted to be sure we enjoyed our food at Courage. We ordered the mushroom risotto and traditional cod and potatoes dish. Overall a very lovely dining experience!

10/10I come to Aveiro very often for work and I always stop by this restaurant for dinner! It is one of the best restaurants, a hidden diamond! Food is amazing and service super nice! Looking forward to coming back

8.5/10YES! This little gem stands out! You will not be disappointed! Great spot I found per chance in Aveiro. Food is of high quality, truly well-executed. (Foodie thus my level of expectancy is high.) This lil’ resto pleased me immensely. I had the squid with lime mayo to start - perfection! Crispy, light, fresh, piping hot as it should be served & not dredged in stale oil like most. Portion size was generous. I was offered another higher quality red wine rather than that of the wine list, as the discreet generous lady owner saw I was a quaffer of good wine and went all out to please me! Top marks for going above and beyond for your customers. ( that truly makes you stand out in todays world) My main meal was a typical Portuguese ( arroz calderoso) seafood rice dish and it was deliciousness personified… flavourful, full of seafood & wet enough not to dry out as one eats, which is a generous portion so takes time. House-menu brownie next, which I had ogled at another’s table nearby - the polite owner not only served it to me with such cheer ( knowing how darn-good it was ) fudgy, moist, decadently dark-chocolate rich yet not too sweet… and did not charge me for it either! I will be back, to a place where people still really care and go all out for their customers! Congrats COURAGE - you have it!!! 💪🏻

8/10The staff was amazing(5 stars). Although short on staff, they did everything to ensure we were happy and comfortable. We had great expectations about the food too but unfortunately, that wasn't the case: We had Brás Codfish and it was not only dry but it had some Mayo floating around. The codfish was spot on! For the dessert, we had Creme Brulé, and to be honest, it was not good: The texture was awkward, the burned sugar was not "cracking", and the custard was warm. I left 2/3 on this desert. We also had Chocolate mouse. This one was really good! The flavour was great and the fleur de sal gave it that extra.

10/10Courage is a contemporary restaurant located in the charming city of Aveiro, Portugal. The restaurant has unique cuisine that combines traditional Portuguese dishes with international flavors. The interior of the restaurant is modern and cozy, with a warm atmosphere that is perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. We experienced exceptional service, we were early but were not left hanging in the rain. All staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The menu offers a range of dishes, including seafood, meat, and vegetarian options, all prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. We enjoyed the angus with the red wine suhgested by the waitress Overall, Courage has delicious food, impeccable service, some prices amight seem slightly higher than average, but the quality of the food and service more than justifies the cost. If you are looking for a memorable dining experience in Aveiro, Courage is definitely worth a visit.

9.5/10Very good service and food. We asked for a cod risotto and made a note not to have it salty. It came perfect! The only disapointing thing was the quantity of fried squid - the bowl seemed to be quite full but it was actually half, as the other half were shelves and little stones... worth a visit, though ????
