Early dinner didn’t help speed the food up. Fish and chips were over cooked to the point it was hard. Many aspects of the business require much improvement. Will not be returning even with discount.

Nice cafe with plenty of room and tables. Outdoor area available but currently there is scaffolding out the front. Good variety on the menu...will be back to try other things on there!

We would give zero star if I could. What would’ve been a small mistake was met with a scolding from the owner of the restaurant who was rude and unprofessional. We ordered “baked chicken gnocchi” for one of our dishes and received a “chicken risotto”. We had even pointed to the item on the menu. When the food came out, it looked a little different so we asked if it was gnocchi, the staff said yes but it was so obviously not. Mistakes happen. When we went to the counter to inform them of the incorrect item, they checked the computer and scolded us telling us we ordered “chicken risotto” and there is no way she takes incorrect orders because they work there everyday. They continued, “what do you want me to do, you ordered a wrong dish and kitchen is now closed, there is nothing I can do”. We are usually flexible in a situation like this and would have stuck with the incorrect order but following the behaviour of the staff; we’ve obviously lost appetite so we paid for our drinks and entrees and left. We’ve been going to this restaurant occasionally for years but would never go back there again and do not recommend anyone going there.

Food average or above average but the ambient is currently affected by the construction of the building. Booked via theFork with 30% discount but apparently have to ask and show them the booking with discount before they applied the discount for you.

The restaurant had a good variety of food, but the portions are not the largest. The servers were polite and friendly. If you book through TheFork, make sure you show them your booking when you come in.

Cocktails were Ok. Very quiet for a Saturday night dinner. I think it’s more a breakfast and lunch place for the nearby office workers Monday to Friday.

the beacon in the burger and big breakfast was super salty. creamy garlic prawns came with some brunt rice. other than this, everything is fine.

Arrived to be greeted by staff in a extremely pleasant way. Advised that they were busy and apologise for any delays. There we’re absolutely no delays at all. Staff were unbelievably efficient and attended to our table at the first available opportunity. The food was next level. Everything was what we expected and more. I can highly recommend this place and I’ll definitely be returning for another fabulous feed.

Had a nice lunch. The thai calamari salade was good and the steak sanga was a treat. Wine by the glass is reasonably priced. Finished off with cake and coffee. A nice way to enjoy a Sunday lunch

Always fast service which is great for a pre theatre booking. Shout walk to MTC Sumner theatre. Definitely worth checking out. Great range of food options and drinks at attractive prices

They provided tomato sauce for my chips. I asked to "replace/change' the tomato sauce to chilli sauce which they did but they didn't inform me this will cost me extra $2 until I paid my bill. I don't think this is reasonable. My total bill amount is $110. I use $50 yum towards the bill leaving $60 to be charged on my card. However, the lady boss charged me $60.99 even though she verbally told me the remaining balance is $60. I didn't realise this because they didn't give me the eftpos receipt and I only found out this through my credit card transaction history. Dined here few times and feel that the quality of food has dropped.

The service here was good - I felt very welcome, and staff were friendly. Food was served quickly, and the staff came to check in on us a time or two across the meal. Food was good, but nothing to shout about. All in all, a pleasant place for a meal if I was ever in the area again.
