Food is divine! Exceptional food , service & View. Do try the port wines either at the resort in the Tasting Room. You shall not be disappointed!!

Exquisite experience. The food, the view, the ambiance, the low noise level, the service, everything was excellent. I chose the chef’s specials (pork terrine and roasted goatling) and my waiter’s suggestion for dessert (pumpkin pudding) and I’m glad I did. Hopefully I’ll be back.

Enjoyed a superb lunch at a reasonable price. Got a chance to sample the vineyard’s wines which were excellent- so overall a fantastic lunch in a unique setting. Will definitely visit again and recommend. Well done ????????????????

Lovely position, overlooking the river. The food was well cooked and fresh, but fairly plain. All the wine is from their vineyard - we tried the red, it was good, though on the expensive side. The restaurant itself is a modern design in wood, tastefully lit and comfortable. But it lacks atmosphere and the music was depressing! There were about 10 other diners when were there in November, maybe in the Summer when it's full it's more fun!

This winery and restaurant is a fabulous find in a wonderful location. I would give it a 10 but the service in the restaurant was a bit snooty. Perhaps it was a language barrier. Otherwise, the service was prompt and the food was wonderful and paired well with the Quinta’s own wines. I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Food was delicious, very well presented and a good wine selection. My only reservation is that I am gluten intolerant and unfortunately they do not cater for food allergies except that you just don't eat what contains gluten. I did write my food allergy in the comment section (I reserved a week in advance), and I would expect for a restaurant of this quality to at least prepare (buy) gluten free bread and not to bring me sorbet with cookie crumble.

Gorgeous eating space, helpful staff and exciting food and wine. One of the few modern and innovative menus that we have experienced in the Douro region- not to be missed.

This was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in Portugal. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was superb, and the wine recommended went perfectly with the meal.

Surprisingly chic restaurant on the side of the Douro. Modern architect designed dining room. High quality, imaginative food using fresh ingredients. Young, charming waiting staff.

Beautiful setting, excellent food, and very good and very friendly service. A bit noisy for our liking due to a large tour group, but overall very pleasing.

Excellent food in a gorgeous restaurant right above the Douro River. The reserve wines from the winery itself were very good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent to start with, but fell off as the evening progressed.

We arrived at 8 PM (20:00). Looks like most of the patrons arrived at 7:30. The staff was flying around the place doing their best, but it was 15 minutes until we got some water and 40 minutes until wine, meals came at 9:15PM. We are americans, so this was not our expected time frame - all that being said, the meal was outstanding! The view and setting are beautiful and well worth the trip. We ordered the chicken, quinoa salad and Iberian Pork - all were superb and flavorful. The House Red (Quinta de la Rosa) is all you need, right from the barrels next door. If you are on a budget and expect to be attended to and served promptly, this is probably not the place to go. If you want a great meal and in idyllic setting - do not miss this place.

We had an 8:30 reservation and wished to sit outside. We were told there would be a short wait for a table. 30 minutes later, no one had updated us on our table & three tables were empty outside. We approached staff again and were Finally seated. One dinner of Iberian pork was so-so. The other, chicken was delicious. The wine was great. Being ignored for half an hour was not acceptable.

Definitely Sit outside on the patio. Order their wine ( we had 2015 private collection) and it wasn’t too expensive) The Iberico pork and octopus were outstanding chef selections!

The food was not cheap but very delicious. The presentation was comparable to Michelin rated restaurants. Very pleased with food.
