Returned today after a lovely meal on Friday night. We wanted to try Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed! Gorgeous food, tasted home cooked, not bland mass produced fayre you get at other places. Very reasonably priced, good service and nice atmosphere. My only niggle is that the chairs are a bit hard and uncomfortable but everything else is spot on. Will be back soon.

First visit to this pub. I always drive past it and wonder what it's like. Saw that it had new management so thought we'd give it a go. The food was lovely, easy and well presented. The service was excellent, the waitresses and bar staff were really pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was nice, busy without being packed. Very rwasonably priced as well. We will definitely be back.

The food was good. Because we ate later on a Sunday, some things had run out. The food could have been hotter, but otherwise the Sunday dinner was plentiful and good.

It’s been a while since we’ve been to the Cricketts Inn and it’s change hands, the menu lacks imagination and has sadly become more of a pub serving generic food. The food we ordered was ok but the choices were limited. We ate on a Saturday afternoon and the Inn was very quiet which meant it was lacking in atmosphere.

Even though we live within 20 mins drive, have never dined here. What a gem of a find from the great food to the excellent friendly girls serving drinks and waiting :) will definitely be back x

Generous and beautifully presented food. Starters in particular were delicious, fresh and attractive. Table was a little small for 4 - taking into account the amount of food on it! A better idea would have been to seat us on the bigger empty table behind. Enjoyed this meal very much. Thanks

The food was very good when it arrived however, the service was very, very slow even though the restaurant was only two thirds full. We waited 40 minutes from ordering our main course to it being served and a further 30; minutes for our plates to be cleared, then a further 35 waiting for our desert. There appeared to be very few staff on duty. We don’t like to be rushed in restaurants but this was embarrassingly slow especially as we had taken friends.

The food was delicious and the service excellent. This was our first time here and it was a family get together of nine family members. Everybody really enjoyed their meal, but it was a shame we found it difficult to talk to each other as the music was so loud. We asked 2 different waitresses who said they would turn it down, but unfortunately they didn’t. It was such a shame as we all had so much to catch up on. Otherwise the food and service was excellent.

Great restaurant. Food was well cooked. Good variety on the menu. Service from the staff was friendly and accurate. Although the menu was changing, there was enough from previous menu to cater for our needs, giving us even more choice! That made life even more difficult!!
