This restaurant is a fixed visiting point when in Sicily. We have always had good expereinces here with exquisite food, excellent service and very good value for money.

I had dinner inside. The space is lovely, well-appointed and nice to get a cloth napkin in Sicily! The amuse-bouche (not sure what the term is in Italian) was flavorful as was the fagioli and octopus, the chef’s special first course. The main course of fish in a pool of potato creme was superb. That said, the Chocolate Panna Cotta was a major disappointment - dense, cold and totally lacking the texture of a proper panna cottta. I took two bites. I was asked if I didn’t like it and was truthful with the waiter. Panna Cotta is not rocket science! I was not offered another dessert. Having ordered the chef’s special starter of the day and the most expensive main course on the menu, I was surprised to see the Panna Cotta still on my bill. Penny wise and pound foolish. Left with a bad taste in my mouth and won’t recommend Cucina & Vino.

Our meal was very good with the exception of one of our main courses - the veal was tough making it impossible to eat it all. Otherwise we really enjoyed our evening at the restaurant.

Beautiful little restaurant with excellent service and food. Highly recommend. Everything was outstanding. Next to a lovely church in a small piazza.

Una scoperta in un luogo sempre affascinante come ibla. Ristorante pulito, staff accogliente e disponibile, ottima cucina, prodotti locali ben scelti. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo e assolutamente da consigliare! Da provare la parmigiana bianca Importante: da provare la parmigiana bianca! Una delizia

The food was very good. Sheep cheese & roasted eggplant starter was excellent. Raviolli as first dish also very good. By the second dish I was alredy full, so I just sampled the pork filled with rice, but it was good. The service was good, no complains there. Sitting outside next to the suprisingly busy road was one minus for the location. Exaust smoke coming from the curve ruins otherwise pleasent sitting situation.

We had a confirmed reservation for 9pm but were told upon arrival the restaurant been fully booked. Same as an Italian family of four. We reserved via TheFork they by telephone. No one even greeted/welcomed us. As we were nevertheless waiting for 20 min to be helped (it’s not so easy to get another table at that time on a Easter-Monday) we were nothing but ignored ... only shoulder-twitching. No one was sorry for the mistakes. No one was offering options. Just ignorance. This is obviously one of the very poorly managed restaurants where the chefs and patrons vanities stand highly above the customers needs - very disappointing behavior. The staff was overwhelmed and totally unable to cope with such a situation. This is no place to feel welcomed nor spending time and money. Such incidents show: service matters. We do not know what the food is like and may only hope that it’s better than the service ....
