Always amazing food and ambience. Lovely staff. Have marked service a little lower than normal as our drinks by the glass were quite inconsistent with some being really quite small. Overall still excellent.

I was in a group of 6 and all meals were reported to being delicious. I had the Gnocchi which was delicious. Aracini Ball are a generous serving. I was told it was a new menu, many good choices. Always enjoy going there. The only drawback is The Star have introduced paid parking.

My friends and I love going to Cucina Vivo. Not only does it have wonderful pizza and very delicious side dishes, but the environment and service is just great. It strikes the perfect balance - it feels a little bit formal and posh but still very friendly and welcoming. The menu selection (even for us vegetarians is good). The lighting and music is just right.

When booking we were unsure where this restaurant was located. To our nice surprise we found the restaurant nestled perfectly on the first floor overlooking the main entrance to the Star Casino at Broadbeach. Parking was a breeze to find and free, The quality of food was better then good and the service was prompt. We also received the first round of drinks for free on account the waiter was unavailable to tend to us when we arrived, which was a nice gesture. My wife and I enjoyed dining at Cucina Vivo and are sure to return.

We come here often, tonight we were disappointed. As a group of 10 we were ordering more drinks but were told we had to leave as they needed the table. The restaurant was half empty and could have accommodated next guests somewhere else. Disappointing, we cancelled our drinks orders and left. This was poor management, other guests could have been placed elsewhere at it wax nearly 9pm. Struggling to believe the table was really needed and this experience has left us with a bad opinion about one of our favourite restaurants.

The food was average but the service was terrible. An item we ordered was forgotten conpletely. Drinks were forgotten and we had to request them again (after 1 of our mains was already finished & it was ordered 5 mins before we recieved the mains) we were not approached at all after our original orders were taken. We had to ask the waiter everytime we wanted to order anything. All in all hugely dissappointing.

We were on holidays for my partners birthday and I wanted to spoil him with an Italian feast. We were not disappointed! Our waiter was amazing, the food matched the service. It was quite noisy at the time of our visit and found it a little hard to hear each other. Other than that we cannot fault this restaurant. On our next visit to the GC, we will without doubt make reservations here again.

Service this time was a little weird, having 2 different people serving us disjointed the flow of the night, especially when one of the servers was a lot more courteous than the other. The focaccia starter was quite good, although I would have liked a bit more olive oil, or at least some on the side to dip into. My veal dish was quite satisfying, with all elements complimenting each other, blanketed in the tasty gravy. It did feel almost like a carvery meal though, and at $40, I would expect something with a bit more pizzazz. My company ordered the fish of the day, which was Salmon today, though the cut looked a little thick, vertically and did not come with a wedge of lemon. If it had been my order, I don't think I would be fully satisfied. Overall, a mediocre experience for the price.

First time for dinner with friends on my husbands birthday. Excellent service and we all really enjoyed our meal. The main course duck was delicious. Our lovely waitress even organised some cake with a candle for the birthday boy!
