6.5/10We were disappointed to find there is now only a 4 course set menu for lunch. The choices were minimal, unlike a more extensive set of menu choices we experienced here a few months ago

10/10Didn’t realise it was a set menu when we booked and were initially a bit daunted, but it was so good!! Every dish was amazing, the service was brilliant and their (white) wines are really good. Looking forward to getting through the case we bought. Awesome experience! Thank you

8/10Always a delightful place for lunch, however the soup on offer was incorrect on the menu with the Premium grazing board option. We had this item in the past and I think the overall presentation of the board was better last time. I would go again but perhaps choose differently off the menu.

9/10Unbelievably exceptional food , great service once I caught anybody’s eye and actually got seated... once seated the overall experience was fantastic, “had I died on gone to heaven... “ the only let down was the staff looking at you while you stood in the foyer watching people enjoying wine tastings and thinking well it’s not my job to attend to those customers I’ll just pretend I didn’t see them and let them stand there like dunnies in the desert . With an experienced maître d that unfortunate experience would have been avoided and we would have felt elated looking forward to our experience rather than ignored and almost ready to leave and move to another establishment that welcomed clients ready to spend their hard earned money with them . That aside it was definitely the best food experience possible and I am going again this week and would highly recommend Cullens to all.

6.5/10The welcome was average. I booked over 2 weeks ago and they kept us waiting to check the booking. The main meal choice of Angus beef was delicious as was the honey mousse dessert.

10/10Welcoming and well set out, you could feel the beautiful family history. Such an iconic winery of the Margaret River region. A real Gem, our lunch and wine tasting was spectacular .

8.5/10My wife and I enjoyed the set menu - my wife had the snapper and I had the beef fillet. Our trout entrees, my beef and our honey mousse desserts were all excellent. My wife’s fish was overcooked which was disappointing. We loved the wines and splurged on a glass each of the current vintage Diana Madeline which was excellent.

9.5/10Food, Wine and Staff all fantastic. The only thing which is a curiosity is the choice of either a fixed menu or sharing platter for choice of food. The quality of the food is really excellent but this alternative just struck us as a bit incongruous. Having said that we will definitely be returning.

9/10High quality produce beautifully plated and explained by the waiter, very busy so a little slow at table clearing and topping up wine, would have preferred a better placed table, overall a wonderful experience

5/10We stood by the restaurant entrance for some time without any acknowledgement from the staff despite there only being 3 tables occupied. We found the service to be inattentive, the food came out incredibly slowly considering the restaurant was only 1/4 full and the portion size was very small. We went to Cullen last year and found it was a stand out experience and were very disappointed with this visit.

8/10Lovely setting but really small serves. The menu had lots of vegetarian dishes.

7/10Menu only available when you arrive -due to fresh home grown produce and locally sourced etc.. I would not have booked given the choices - I like seafood so I was OK and while the kangaroo was cooked as it should be, the accompaniment was lacking and the overall lack of choice for all of us was disappointing - starters should arrive before entrees. Wrong white wine presented then having to make two requests for our choice of a bottle of red to breathe, in the open bottle, a glass or decanter.

Wine with a view
With sweeping views of the historic vineyard at Wilyabrup, Margaret River, Cullen Wines Dining is a spectacular place in which to indulge and relax... with a glass of wine in hand of course! The restaurant itself is housed in a noteworthy granite and timber structure that blends harmoniously into the landscape - seat yourself an outside table in order to fully appreciate the beautiful setting. The menu is classy, clean and pretty as a picture. Start with a delicate entree like the ceviche with chilli, lime and wakame salad, then move on to a heavier main. We love the oven crisp confit duck leg with organic soba noodle salad, Asian greens, chilli and palm sugar dressing. Make sure you nominate someone else to be designated driver because you can't leave Cullens without sampling some of their award-winning wine!
Best Dish: sous vide quail with apple and herb salad, roasted hazelnuts, Cullen honey, orange glaze and organic baby beetroot.
