This is the second time we have been to this little place before. The staff here are the best, and although a small place they will try to make you comfortable. As always we enjoyed a cocktail or two. Pisco Sour is a favorite. The mixed grill has a great variety of meats including sticky pork ribs, and crispy belly, chicken and delicious steak. I asked for sour cream to go with the accompanying potatoes. The meats were all perfectly cooked and tasty. We also had an order of roasted veggies, however these were mostly capsicum and undercooked, not resembling roasted. Otherwise cannot complain with a generous 30% discount off the food on a Saturday night!

The good was good quality and the staff was friendly. The only dawn side is that the menu didn’t offer many options for traditional food.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is really good with some South American classics and some twists on there menu too, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

Slow service. Paella ok. Meatballs were the only highlight of this disappointing experience. It's really disheartening when you are watching the staff snack in the kitchen and in the restaurant while waiting a very long time for your quite simple order. We sat near the market side entrance subjected to very strong cool air-conditioning and the wash up sink. About 10 staff working but clearly not efficiently. Our order was forgotten as were other patrons'. Luckily the market adjoins as a few supply runs were made by staff including for the bread stick feeding them for the evening. Sure they were busy but isn't the area always such on a Friday night?

Loved the food and the atmosphere, although spoiled by the works currently going on with the market. Prices were reasonable and the food well presented and tasty, Customer service was excellent. I was disappointed with the Margarita cocktail though, which I thought watered down. Otherwise all was good and I will definitely be going again..

Great Feed me menu. Not flash but nice home flavorsome cooking. Heaps of food and they were happy for us to take home the left overs. Great service and recommended. Thanks

Ordered 7 different tapas dishes, but the kitchen brought them all out simultaneously. Its nice to stagger the dishes, but the time we got to the end the dishes were cold and gluggy. Plus, its a lot of food to be presented with all at once. We had expected a long, slow, dinner, but instead felt very rushed.

We just wanted a quick pre-theatre meal and they were perfect. Tapas served quickly with a nice bottle of wine. Live music as a bonus. Had a great night.

Cumbia is a very busy place with a very happy, upbeat vibe. The staff are always smiling and friendly. It feels like a real cultural experience dining there. Outside uder the trees was a beautiful setting for lunch, with upbeat world music and lots of happy customers around us. The Coxinha was crisp and full of flavour, the corn bread side dish was well balanced with balsamic glaze and coriander. Our Chilli crab and prawn linguini was sweet and light with a good balance of warmth from the chilli and full of flavour. We also had the paella, with chicken and chorizo, which had great flavour also. All together a wonderful experience. Thanks.
