Good food with good service! The chef runs the restaurant alone which makes whole experience feels like you are having a family dinner and one of your relatives serves you nice dinner! Atmosphere-wise, the restaurant doesnt look very fancy but cellar-type decoration (maybe it's really a cellar :)) gives you great comfort! Highly recommended!

This restaurant was a wonderful find. The atmosphere is romantic and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and kind. We didn’t feel rushed at all, we enjoyed all our courses and felt very full and satisfied. I would highly recommend coming here, we will definitely return when we next visit Bruges.

A lovely man was both serving and cooking food. Considering he was doing this with a full restaurant I was very impressed. I had the chicken which was cooked well but was literally plain chicken. The food was not bad but I would not come back again. Sorry.

Great get on short notice. Great mussels, my two favorite beers, even the kids expanded their palettes. For a one-man show as waiter, bartender, and chef, we were impressed with the service and food quality. We are not Belgium newbies, this was as good or better than many restaurants we’ve eaten at in Brugge and Ghent.

Unfortunately there were only 10 people in a dark basement. The waiter was the chef as well. There was no ambiance in this restaurant at all. Considering its in Bruge, I am amazed it is still open. Would never recommend or go back There are hundreds of fantastic cafes and restaurants here. Even Google maps says the restaurant is closed indefinitely ????

Dear, yesterday it was reservation only, because I'm saving myself for the 2 coming weeks. Like you pointed out I did the serving and cooking. I send farewell to my Indonesian collegue on December 4th after working for 15 years toghether as she went back to her country permantly. For the moment I'm doing everything myself indeed, and I will look for staff next year after January. You are actually the first who makes a comment about this, because from everybody else i get a lot of respect for this. About Google maps, yes it appears to be only on a Iphone that we look permantly closed. If you look on a computer or other smartphone it isn't. You would not have been able to book actually on The Fork if we would not been open anymore...About the dark basement, well it everyones taste... For some customers it's too dark, for others there is too much light :) Anyway thanks for your visit and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2023. Kind regards, Michael

The restaurant is in a big a basement room down some very steep stairs. There was only one other couple when we arrived. We had the set menu and the food was delicious. The beef in particular was superb. The desert menu is limited and we had ice cream with chocolate. Would have been nice to have more choice , but nevertheless a very good experience.

A little restaurant that offers correct belgian food (we had shrimp croquettes, molten brie and fish casserole) but disappointing in some aspects : frozen fries, cheap teabags, thin beer. The place is underground and could me a little more cheerful or lively. The waiter was kind but the room felt a little too big for the three tables there was to serve this evening.

Lovely food great pace and atmosphere, I would have liked the staff to have some sort of uniform as you couldn't make out who was staff. Food was lovely and so nice. would recommend very much

Food was ok Brie was ok probs not melted enough. Shrimp croquettes were very soft and could hardly taste the shrimp. The stew was nicely cooked but quite plain. Salad had dill dressing on that was quite overpowering. Service was fine. Price for the food was probably good value in Brugge. Shame they’ve painted the cellar... stripped back to the brick it could have been quite atmospheric... but it’s quite modern and bright.

The restaurant is down a steep, short staircase. The ambiance is lovely! Low, arched ceilings- very romantic! There were a few fixed menu options with a good price range starting at 18 €. I would return.
