Even though this place has great reviews we were surprised about the quality of food and service. Unfornutantely the food arrived barely hot, so it got cold very fast. It was a good looking seafood platter. However it tasted very bland and wasn't all that enjoyable. I also told so our waiter, who did not care. Service was more occupied with getting people in from the street than actually serving us. We would not go back.

Good diner for our last evening in Venice, nice local dishes.

Everything was fine and we never were served as guests with a discount reservation! Fine food, good wine and a warm welcome. In addition we got a Limoncello for free!

We had a good evening there, Pizza, pasta and tagliata , plus a grilled fish. All was tasty and enjoyable , Service was kind and fast....a good Deal in venice, just a few minutes away from San Marco .

Food was OK, would made same pasta at home though...

Very hopitable service, attentive but not invasive. The best pasta (ala carbonara) I've ever had. Fantastic tirimisu and limoncello digestifs on the house! Great experience!

Can only echo other reviews. Beautiful fresh food and very welcoming friendly service. Would recommend it highly. Prices are also very reasonable for Venice and it’s not that far off the beaten track

The owner (or waiter) was extremely friendly and enthusiastic. He was eager to introduce us to his restaurant and menu. We had a mix grilled fish and grilled vegetables. They were all great. Thanks for the good service.

Excellent food and drinks in Castillo area!! We ate here a few times over the past few days and enjoyed the food and after a disappointing meal at another restaurant, knew it was a safe bet. Staff were very attentive and friendly any went way out to make sure we enjoyed our visits. We had vongole as well as salmon pasta, fillet steak and grilled salmon but the mixed grilled seafood platter was amazing. All food and drinks were well priced and no cover or service charge! We also reserved our table through the ‘fork’ app and received a discount each time. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent meal at this restaurant last night. We had vongole and prawns to start and the lobster pasta and Frito misto and all cooked to perfection. Drinks were also good and reasonable priced. Will definitely be back!

Nice place, good food. My sea bass was excellent and service was top class. Good wine too. Good value for money
