We just had a wonderful lunch on the advice of our wine sommelier. He was spot on. The food and service were spectacular… so much so we made a reservation to return for dinner to enjoy a traditional Florentine steak. Highly recommend you experience this restaurant. You won’t be dial.

We were away from the uk for a couple of months travelling . From Matera eventually to this hill top village. The best food and service we received of the entire journey. A truly wonderful evening helped with our food selection by the most charming Italian waiter, knowledgeable and delightful

After 3 years, we found Da Remo even better than before, effectively only the brave and the strongest can survive…, food are all beautifully presented, taste are delicious as they should be, personals are professional, good looking, especially very kind… we hope you all the best!

This was a great find for my family and I. It was nearly freezing out and dining inside the room with the fireplace was so welcoming. We had the Florentine steak in at least 5 different restaurants and this place made it the best. The expertise from our waiter regarding the food pairing was spot on. This is clearly a locals place that made these tourists feel welcome. The wifi was spotty at best but what do you expect with 3ft thick stone walls. Definitely worth the price and drive!

We had a table in the garden and this is a beautiful place. We enjoyed our dinner with traditional Toscane dishes. It was a wonderful moment for us ! Thank you to all the team !

The Antipasti was delicious, the pasta was a little bit of a disappointment. The garden is beautiful though and the service is also really nice.

About the pasta we actually do the flour with grain becoming from Monteriggioni and then we transform it in pasta. We try to be the best making pasta so i hope we will have another opportunity. The staff are very attentive without being annoying. For those who do not speak Italian the staff have enough English to explain dishes. The food, as ever, was amazing. Both starter and main course were full of flavour. Beautifully presented too. Even though the restaurant was full on Sunday we didn’t have to wait long for our food.

I booked a table for two here based on the reviews on trip advisor. How disappointed I was. Arrived to be shown to a table in the front room with two larger groups of ten, quiet noisey. Sat waiting a further 10 mins or so to be given a menu, whilst being circled by several flies whom stuck around to keep us company for the whole meal. Placed our orders and were disappointed once they arrived. My wife order truffle pasta, sorry to say this but I think your kitchen has been sold fake truffles, zero fragrance and flavour with comparison to others we had tried in the region earlier that day. Our €22 bottle of wine (that was recommend)and that’s less than half that in australia was left unfinished. Our mains arrived ! hopefully a glimmer of hope? But no. Pork was dry, and my pasta was way too salty. Service was minimal to say the least, seated by one staff member served by another whom we only saw when bring out meals. Then to add insult to an already bad experience the waiter asked my wife how the meal was for her to rely “average” and no apology was given he just walked off. Then after asking for the bill we were left waiting another fifteen minutes. I’ve never written a negative review of a restaurant before but after paying such a substantial amount for a poor meal I felt obliged to make other people aware. If you choose to dine here hopefully your experience is more enjoyable than ours.

Good dinner with a really Nice service in a good location at Montereggioni. We had as starter a budino di pecorino with truffle, that was a great choice recommended by one of the waiter, then some raw meat with gorgonzola sauce and pear and for finish the dessert of the castle that consist of a millefoglie with home made cream. The restaurant as an internal garden really nice and the choice of menu is quite large. Recommended
