10/10What a beautiful hidden gem! Wish we would have known about it sooner! Delicious eggs Benedict and coffee that hits the spot, not to mention very reasonably priced. Service was faultless and it was so lovely to have a pleasant chat with the friendly staff. The ambience is just devine. We will definitely be back!

10/10Incredibly friendly service, a nice set up with the heated closed in veranda in the middle of winter. We sat on the bench seat and enjoyed the view of the backyard and the chickens. We had the grazing plate and two glasses of wine.-enjoyed the lot. Finished with a scone and tea, the scone was ridiculously big. About as big as three normal scones.

10/10We had a table for 10 and the service was fantastic with everyone enjoying their meals. The view was excellent with kangaroos, kookaburras, chooks and pumpkins. It rained very heavilly but when the sun came out the rainbow over the autumn leaves was spectacular.The warm balcony was inviting and noise levels kept to a minimum in an Australian bush setting. We were even able to split the bill which made it very easy to pay for such a large group. We will come back.

9.5/10Party of 5 . Enjoyed our meals & drinks, service was excellent went out of their way to make sure we were happy with meals& drinks ,clean cafe cleared away crockery etc when finished. Would recommend to anyone but you must book as they are very busy on weekends.

10/10We had a wonderful time at Dark Horse Cafe. The owners and their staff are amazing. They go to great lengths to make their customers welcome. Their food is good quality and are generous servings. The cafe ambience is inviting and the surrounds are a beautiful bush land area. A great go-to place for warm hospitality and casual dining.

10/10We had a family gathering here on Sunday in honour of our late father and the service was amazing and the food was amazing. All the staff were so kind and happy and made the lunch even more special for my grieving mum. We love it here. Thank you ❤️

10/10Great food. Great service. Nice atmosphere looking at trees - we spotted a kookaburra and king parrot! The only downer for patrons with mobility issues is that the toilet is outside and downstairs/down a gravel slope.
