Immediately on arrival, we were impressed by the beautiful ambience. The staff were warm and professional, polished while being welcoming. The food service was fast but not rushed, and offered us time to relax between courses if we liked. The food was just perfect, couldn't fault a thing. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience, highly recommend a visit, and will definitely be returning

Darley’s restaurant is situated within a historical house with a beautiful outlook (depending on where you are seated) overlooking the gorgeous gardens or out toward the valley. We were seated on what was previously the veranda, which has since been built in with windows. If you are seated further inside the restaurant your unlikely to be able to view the gardens or valley, though the building it self is absolutely gorgeous. The food is delicious and the service is good (I would have said great, however I did have flag down a waiter to refill my glass half way through my main with my decanted wine). The wine list has some half bottles which is nice if you would like a glass or two of a very nice wine but do not want to drink an entire bottle. I had the fabulous Rockford Basket Press Shiraz (2017), although still very young, I believe in the half bottle wines age a little quicker and with a little air went very well my beef tenderloin (which was cooked to perfection). I had the poached pear for dessert which was amazing although the serving size could have been slightly larger. Overall an excellent experience and would happily return.

This was one of our best ever dining experiences. Considering the quality of the dining, we found the overall cost to be very reasonable. Highly recommended

The staff were nice and professional but lacked permanent warmth, but that’s a personal opinion. The food was good and side dishes were overpriced as a baked single potato was priced at $15, overall we enjoyed the dinner and I would recommend this place.

We were looking forward to a typical fine dining experience but were disappointed. The service (thanks Maddi) was attentive, but the menu was not inspiring on the written page and what was served was no better. The slow cooked pork belly and mushrooms did not gel together and the octopus tough and charred enough to taste burnt… The wagu had little taste and the toothfish and corn was only acceptable. We left buoyed by a pleasant cheese platter but overall felt let down..

A special restaurant for a special occasion. We chose Darley's to celebrate our anniversary and we weren't disappointed. We chose a beautiful French pinot noir from their extensive wine list and the three course dining experience is set menu only. Wonderfully prepared and served food with fairly attentive service. The seating inside is cozy while the outside seating makes the most of the views.

The Food was great, but we were not told before we got there that it was a set 3 course menu and very expensive. Unfortunately although the food we got was great quality it was very a very small quantity.

Lovely evening. When we first arrived we were seated at a table with a view of lattice which was a little awkward however when we requested a different table they were happy to accommodate. Food was really good, well balanced, good textural experience and came out well spaced. My husbands lamb was slightly overdone but they very quickly replaced with a med/rare version which he thoroughly enjoyed. Dessert was sublime. A really wonderful experience- definitely be back.

Unfortunately our trip to Darley’s was really disappointing. It took 40 minutes for the waiter to serve us once we were seated, whilst couples around us were served promptly and in a friendly manner. Food was excellent but served very slowly. All in all, the service was well below the standard we would expect in a restaurant of this reputation.

The dining experience at Darley's was superb. You felt very welcome as soon as you walked through the door, and Pablo, the maitre de, was amazing. The quality of the food was excellent with only the best produce used. The menu was innovative and blended some unusual combinations, and suited those who have a leaning towards gourmet cuisine. The ambience of the dining space was sumptuous, with heritage features completing the experience of dining in a beautiful historic homestead.
