As usual the food was awesome. We waited a bit tonight for our meal which was frustrating only because we have never experienced that long a wait before and we arrived hungry. Worth the wait though as always. Think we have every thing on the menu at Dewats now and always been very satisfied with the food. Thank you

The staff were very friendly. The rice for one is actually plenty for two people. Hence we had heaps left over at our table of 8! Food is very authentic, and tasty. Regular is a little small, but ok if you're not a huge eater! Larger is a good serving for one, or two if you have an entree as well.

Meals were prepped pretty quickly given there were lots of people in. Some dishes were quite salty or sweet respectively. Two serves contained only small amounts of meat compared to other dishes. Generally flavours were good. This was our first visit and most people commented upon the differences in dishes compared to those experienced at other restaurants. Thank you very much. Friendly service.

The staff were welcoming. We arrived at 6.30 ahead of any other guests which included a party of 14. Our orders were taken in good time and the appetiser ordered by one of the party arrived in good time. We then waited and waited, Other people had been well and truly served and some finished before two of us received our order the third still waited. My meal was only luke warm. It was after 8.00 before we left.

Whilst the food was generally rather good, we found the service to be very uneven - dishes not coming, needing to go to the till to get any service, white wine not being refrigerated - and disappointing. The ambience was not to standard - we were sat on a table adjacent to a children's playpen in a room that was more akin to an eatery than a restaurant. This is a pity as the food was good. It is perhaps a better take away option. On the night we attended, there was only one other table of two in the place, and a few take away orders.

This restaurant was a Fantastic find. The ambience is beautiful, staff very attentive and efficient. Food was delivered in good time and we never felt hurried or stressed. The waitress checked on us regularly to make sure we e=were happy and hydrated. The chef came out after the meal to check that we were happy. What a lovely experience we have each time we eat here :)

Staff were friendly, good food and byo wine. Restaurant is quite large so not the warmest on a cold night nor is it the most intimate of atmospheres so wouldn't suggest a romantic dinner ????

We were the first ones sitting down for the night but were definitely not the last. Our tandoori entrees were excellent and our mains and roti were superb. Cannot wait to revisit!

The Tandoori Chicken was in huge chunks, it had been reheated. Our main course was Beef Vindaloo, the meat was ok, but the gravy! was like tomato soup. The vegetable was spinach and cheese, this was very sloppy. The Naan was lovely as was the saffron rice. The venue was big and like a ballroom.

Lovely spicy food, great staff. Enjoyable night out. We wanted to repay a restaurant in our local community for the generosity they showed by providing free meals to those in need during the covid lockdown. Thank you!
