We chose the 5 course menu with drinks (half glasses which is great to avoid drinking too much). The amuse and the first two dishes were amazing. We were a bit disappointed by the steak tartar (I am not a fan of raw meat), by the main course (duck) and by the dessert. Service and wine selection was fantastic as usual. The price was high but this is to be expected.

The food was fantastic everything else as well. The waiting time in total was a bit to high for me. The combination of food is remarkable. In total it was the best dining expierence for a while to me.

Yesterday we ate at the Eetkamer for the third time. The food was just as delicious as the times before. The food is surprising, you can feel (and see and taste!) that a lot of thought is put into thinking about the flavour combinations. The food not only tastes but also looks beautiful. This time the langoustine stole the show. The personnel will tell you all you need to know about the food and the paired wines. So happy to have this pearl of a restaurant around the corner! If you are visiting Scheveningen, this restaurant is worth a visit!

The food creations were so innovative and delicious it was unbelievable! The dishes so beautifully arranged and the service very attentive - it was truly an outstanding experience. We had the 5 course menu including the wine selection which was excellent. We had a great evening with fantastic food and service! We will definitively come back next time we visit The Hague!

This is an amazing restaurant. Decor of a nice cozy local place with sophisticated food worthy of a Michelin star. Amazing flavours. Service was well timed and orchestrées. My favorite place in The Hague.

very nice food, but not for people who are picky with food. We had the 6 course menu and it was very good. The wine we had was served and recommended by the waitress, by only telling her flavours we like. Could have been a bit more food.

As always, going to Eetkamer is a wonderful evening of culinary adventure, in a friendly and warm setting, with reasonable prices considering the top level quality of the food and excellent wine pairings. Glad the lockdown is over!

I was there on a Friday evening, with a reservation. The ambience is relaxed, casual, and very cosy. The service was slow at the beginning but caught up after the third course (out of 6). The waiters were very kind, friendly, and explained every dish thoroughly. The food quality was outstanding, and the portion size was commensurate with the number of courses, so that in the end I was happily full. Definitely good value for money.

Plays in a different league than most of the restaurants in The Hague. The surprise formula is a nice way to open new horizons . The cook knows his/her job with some very fine and well balanced mix of tastes and flavors. Real good value for money.
