About the restaurant De Haagsche Kluis

Dining in an old hertimage

Would you like to dine in a beautiful state monument? Who wouldn't? In the basement you find an old hermitage - unfortunately nothing in it -, which immediately explains the name of the place. The restaurant is well known for its modern spaces and available meeting rooms. Enjoy its historical atmosphere and a nice dinner with a matching wine.

Just a light lunch but the soup of the day was pumpkin and orange and my wife had the bouillabaisse and both were wonderful, very filling with tasty bread and good Belgium beers on draft.

My husband and I had a lovely evening at the Haagse Kluis. The welcome was warm and the ambience cosy. The building was formerly an old bank and the dark wood and candlelight was very romantic. The food was excellent, especially the rib eye which was cooked to perfection. The white chocolate cheesecake was absolutely delicious. The service was very good, attentive but not obtrusive. All in all a very enjoyable evening.
