Great overall experience. Had dinner here with my family on 26 July. Nice choice of tapas that puts different tastes of Asia on your plate. The very friendly and swift De Hu sisters do the serving while Mom and Dad prepare the food. Fresh and well prepared bites, simple yet elegant interior. Highly recommended for a quick bite as well as a full dinner. Way to go De Hu family!

We are living in Amsterdam and always looking for gastronomic Asian food. I stumbled upon De Hu's through The Fork, I was looking for places who give discounts. Da Hu's currently has a promotion because they just opened their business. I already read many great reviews and I was not disappointed at all. Their food is not only super mjummie, tasteful and truly authentic Asian, it's also affordable and their setting, on the Haarlemmerstraat, is an extra plus. If you take a booth beside the window you have blissful evening watching all the tourists, stressed out Amsterdammers, freaky stoned youngsters etc. pass by. The service at De Hu's comes with a big and friendly smile and the food is served in exactly the right timing. Not too fast. Not too slow. The wine (sauvignon blanc was terrific, great price -22 euro for a bottle). The interior is maybe the only thing which I did not like too much and might get people on the wrong foot. If they made it less 'Chinese - plastic fantastic' and more 'Eetcafe - unwind eatery style' (I try to avoid the word hipster style) I am sure they will be fully booked every single lunch and dinner.
