About the restaurant De Kersentuin

Classic, yet innovative

The chef surprises with extraordinary creations. The French kitchen is their base, but they like to give it a modern twist. Using biological products you can enjoy it even more. The informal ambiance and friendly atmosphere complete the picture.

The restaurant is really great! The atmosphere is really clean and clear what made me feel so good! I visited in a summer day and even on 9pm I felt like I was lunching.
I ordered the 3 courses menu and I could not have chosen better: the steak tartar, a fish with radish and the chocolate tasting.
My husband ordered the veal and it was incredible as well.
The menu explain very briefly the dishes but it came much more elaborated and beautiful than the menu described.

I have reserved this hotel for the birthday of my husband , stating 3 times in my email that it was his birthday.
I reserved this stay with a bongo bought in Belgium.
Normally stated in the bon was to have a bottle of champagne in the room . Nothing was provided.
The evening at the reservation, I told the waiter 3 times that we had a bongo bon for a 4 course dinner with champagne. He did not know what was a bongo bon . After I remarked to the waiter that we would like a glass of champagne, and he replied that the champagne was in the room.........
Oh la la, very amateurish....... ok we then received a glass of champagne in a large red wine glass.
The dinner was not very attractive and fade.
Now I am still waiting for a little something for the birthday of me husband.........
Will never come back ........

Should have at least one Michelin star - the food is absolutely fantastic and good value for such great quality.
