Great , attentive service, nice atmosphere. Unfussy and eastbto choose from menu . I had the steak which was cooked to perfection. Partner had the wienerschnitzel-also lovely. The tarte Tatin was delicious. Very cosy and good location. Not too loud inside but bustling and we liked the traditional pub atmosphere. We thought it was maybe slightly expensive for what we had but that could be because the pound is now so weak against euro :-(
Would recommend.

Small, inviting pub with friendly service, good drinks and tasty food. A few blocks away from the tourist hustle-bustle.

Sit by the canal! Although some tables are angled and wobbly, it's still part of the experience. I had the steak with stroganoff sauce, my friend the spare ribs. I enjoyed mine more than he did, only because there was a hint of curry in the rib sauce, and he doesn't care for curry.....The salad was excellent, as were the fries.

Really nice place to have diner with an excellent quality/price ratio. The menu is not too extensive which makes it easier to make up one's mind. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service was very attentive and professional.

The music was GREAT! From Tom Jone's Delilah to the famous "Cant take my eyes off of you", combined with other more recent hits. Great music selection.

We did not have desert because we were already quite full after having eaten the main dish (did not order appetizers either).

All in all, a highly recommendable place :-)
