About the restaurant De Spaansche Vloot

Royal quality

In the flower and vegetable garden of Europe you can find, away from the hustle and bustle of the Randstad, "De Spaansche Vloot” (the Spanish fleet). Started in 1540 as an inn and grown from auction place to restaurant and party centre. The name originated from national pride, when a Dutch Admiral defeated a Spanish fleet in 1639. The restaurant is already highly regarded for its asparagus dinners. In 1990 "The Spanish Fleet" was crowned to Royal Supplier. Enough reasons for a tasty visit.
