Sorry -not in Dutch - This restaurant has been around since the late 1980s. First it was a small, one course restaurant, and staffed by loving volunteers who were pro-vegetarian. Now the food has evolved along with the service, but some of the - almost - original waiters are still there. The food is beautifully presented (we had lentil curry and the most amazing carrot dish - absolutely delicious. Great variety of wines by the glass and beers (in the bottle). And - bonbons for desert. Don't miss it!

The main courses were all good. The banana scone was disappointing but the Japanese cheese cake was good. The service was a little slow. But we would go back.

The food tasted good, but was nothing special. It was beautifully presented, but I left hungry. The service was completely indifferent, uncaring, slow. If you are a vegan, you will be disappointed. This is one of the oldest vegetarian restaurants in Amsterdam, so it must be doing something good and I can only assume we were there on a bad evening.

I loved this place. Being a Vegetarian from England it is great to find somewhere abroad that seems so at ease with itself. Relaxed, unassuming even understated. Marvellous flavours and textures and simply no pressure . Just sit back and enjoy. Check it out.

Tasty food! I recommend the Moroccan dish. Very good. Restaurant could use a cosmetic update, and sometimes service is a bit slow (it is homemade food, takes time), but worth it for fulfilling vegetarian cuisine that is far beyond the typical goat cheese and honey dish.

The food was quite good, though I thought that the portions were a little bit small for the price. The decoration was mediocre, nothing too special but nice. And the service was great!

This was a really great little restaurant - you get nothing fancy but the food was great and for once, not drowning in oil. Well done! I had the South African meal and it was really great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
