The best meal we had in Spain. Traditional tapas ingredients but with an upscale touch. The fish soup was ridiculous. Could use a few more beer choices but I'm nitpicking. Excellent sangria. Not cheap but not crazy expensive either. Friendly service, not pretentious or patronizing. Try to check out the Basilica de San Francisco Grande while you're over there, it's right across the street.

We were a group of 11 loud Americans that showed up to a reservation of 10. Some in the group were put off that the waitstaff wasn't prepared for 11 of us (they shouldn't have been - the last one showed up out of the blue), but I felt that the waitstaff was more than accommodating and understanding. The food was phenomenal, our waitress was charming and funny, and they were willing to put up with our less than conversational Spanish.

Highly recommend!

Not very good tapas, lighting in the restaurant was very bright and very loud American music. I would not go out of my way to return
