The restaurant was very hot during the heatwave. The server told us that the air conditioning did not work and that the new owner of the restaurant hadn’t fixed it yet. The sea bass portion was minuscule and the medium rare steak was well done.

Great find just off the Grande Place. Delicious lunch: the fish of the day, moules and chicken all highly recommended. Service was warm and attentive: we will certainly return.

Food was really great…. As the restaurant got busier the service got slower. I know as Americans we are not very patient and maybe it was just us. Delighted we visited Burges!

Was doing a day trip to Bruges. Decided to use some yums to treat myself. Enjoyed a nice steak with fritz and salad. Steak was excellent. Service was excellent. Price was a bit high, but everything in Europe seems to be more expensive than compared to Australia.

The food was delicious! However I think the place needs renovating as there was a horrible smell all around the restaurant. The service was quite slow, but provided that it was Christmas it is only understandable!

,charming, when we arrived everything was fine,you have to pay for tap water,and what bread you get comes in a paper sandwich bag ok it's Belgium,fish soup and shrimp crocetts excellent husband had beer I had wine to drink, version excellent,fish stew not so good,but final course and last section of meal spoilt by young male waiter such a pity until then, good food nice place ,place clean and tidy

We ordered the two prix fix meals that were the Flemish specialties of the house. One was pork cheeks and the other was like a chicken pot pie within flaky puff pastry. We really enjoyed our dinner and would definitely recommend. The host was also the owner and he was very friendly and cordial.

we reserve the night before for 3 persons at 8pm on thursday the 11 . we arrive on time so we place our order at 8.10 we receive our wine and water and them we wait and wait finally at 9.10 no foods we decide to pay the wine and left very disappointed..
