Excellent and tasty food, welcoming and smily people, very reasonable prices (even if the wine menu is a little expensive), an excellent price/quality rate! A wonderful restaurant, highly recommended!

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam. The service is lovely and the food superb. Usually I dine there with a small group but a few months ago I took 20 people there. As it is a small restaurant I was curious to see how this would impact the service and the food. Well it didn't in that their very high standard for both was maintained. As many of my group were from overseas, I wanted to ensure it was a great night - and thanks to the restaurant, it was. Months later they are still saying best meal they have had in Amsterdam.

We had the pre-theatre menu and it was fabulous. We started with the house aperitif which was champagne with apple liquor - very refreshing and elegant. We had 2 amuses - the first was a small pot with mushrooms and celery cream, and the second was a pumpkin spice soup. Both were great. The starter was rillettes of cod and the main was duck in its own juices. Both courses were superb - better than the amuses if you can imagine! We skipped wine with the first course and had a lovely cabernet sauvignon-merlot blend from the north of Spain with our main course, which was also great. For dessert we had chocolate and mango combination - really great. It's difficult to say which course was best! We were served small sweets with our coffee. Service was great and the decor was interesting, not too crowded, clean WC, comfortable chairs. All this for 94 euros. Great quality for the money. We will be back for sure!

The dinner experience in the restaurant was great. The food was good quality very well presented and made this a trulye enjoyable evening. The amuses were complementary of the main dishes and the chocolates wtih the tea were the perfect touch to complete the meal. The staff was friendly and very attentive to all guests.
