Draft beer Kozel was served cold, as not usual in Austria which is a positive fact! They usually tend to serve beer with ambience temperature, even in summer, which is horrible, like horse pee. Food was served in order, but not altogether, but one by one the plates, which made in a table of three, to wait until the last person received his order to begin eating altogether (this was due to lack of staff). The meat was delicious, served with some additional side food next to the main dish. I would strongly recommend the place to eat a fine plate of ribs, schnitzel or any warm traditional Austrian dish.

Really enjoyable Austrian cuisine, which was exactly what we were looking for and helpful/informative service to boot. Just be aware that the restaurant only accepts cash, which was somewhat surprising, and fortunate that we happened to have enough with us.

Owner/Manager was an excellent host, the waitress was a bit short tempered - exactly what you would expect from Vienna :D The food and pricing for it was excellent. It was prepared fresh and the plates & glasses were immaculate and clean! Only the Kaiserschmarrn was a little "letschad" (mushy) but still tasted great. The restaurant decor is a flashback to the good old times where a Gasthaus or Wirtshaus was the place to go and eat & is still perfectly functional.

The food was really good. it is a local pub so dont expect a fancy restaurant but it was really good for what is was. schnitzel is recommended..!!!
