8/10The menu was limited but what we had was good quality. Wine was good but disappointing lack of any champagne or a good alternative to Prosecco.

3/10Whilst the young front of house staff were polite and obliging, there was no ambience in the sterile conservatory, our meal was cold and when we I firmed the waitress she apologised but that was it. The cork to our wine broke when opening- we will not return.

7.5/10The 4 of us had a lovely meal spoilt by the finishing touches! 4 coffees but only 1 serving of petit four. When brought to the attention of the staff, we were told that we could have ordered more!!! No, we shouldn't have to order more! All we expected was what we had ordered.

9.5/10My only criticism is the cutlery. The balance makes it hard to use and the knife is only good for hot butter.

10/10The food was as good as any I have eaten with each course being as good as the next. The evening was made complete by the quality of the staff with attention to detail and with a good balance of engaging with us without being over friendly. Lottie deserves our especial thanks. We even came away with a painting to remind us of a memorable evening.

10/10My wife and I had the tasting menu for lunch. I take the view that at least 75% of the courses should have a wow, especially when the restaurant is Michelin listed. I'd say Forelles hit 100% for us. The fusion of the food itself, the sauces and the herbs/spices were sumptuous. Right up there with the best tasting menu meals I've had, From the canapes, which were amazing, to the second dessert, dark chocolate, we were wowed! Further comments: Service was spot on - courteous and friendly. Wine list extensive and there were many reasonably priced wines, as in £40 and under. Ambience is graceful and the views over the hotel lawn and neighbouring fields was beautiful. Price without alcohol was £89 per person, which for a restaurant like Forelles is fair. They do also have a 2 or 3 course menu at I think £65 for 3 courses or £51 for two, and a special lunch menu which is I think under £30 for 3 courses. A very good option for foodies just outside Ludlow. Do yourself a favour and go.,

8/10Lovely venue and food. Just couldn't get on with the cutlery. Fork balance is hard to use and the knife wouldn't cut butter, making it difficult to use to cut my beef.

9/10Great find. Peaceful atmosphere, lovely views from the conservatory and delicious food which was a little different from standard afternoon tea. Definitely recommend for that special celebration.

9/10Could not fault the food or service, just had trouble with the cutlery!!! Fork weight all wrong and the knife could not cut butter, let alone the beef I had. Not good.

5.5/10The food at the hotel bistro was not good, my wife had duck leg with cassoulet , the duck leg was miniscal and the cassoulet was tasteless, she likened it to a weak tine of soup that someone had put some beans in.

10/10We went to Fishmore Hall for Sunday Lungh to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and very much enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and the service attentive and kind. As neither of us eat sugar an alternative desert was provided.

9.5/10Staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble, food was lovely and the bernaise sauce for my steak was amazing. There is a choice of restaurants but only the bistro is in use on a Sunday evening so, I cannot comment on the garden room but ambience was nice
