2/10Despite having booked two days in advance I had to wait for other guests to vacate their table and it being cleaned and dressed again. Only three waiters attending at least one hundred diners, resulting in very slow service and complete lack of attention. The food is very average and the predominately elderly English clientele who typically never complains means the restaurant does not recognise nor rectifies its very many faults.

6.5/10Great location, good food but over priced deserts and starters. Service was lacking but they offered free after dinner drinks. Shame as could be a great restaurant, lacking will trained servers.

7/10Food was very nice, however service isn’t great at all. We was left waiting at the front desk for about 5 minutes before the singer had to welcome us in to eventually be seated. The poor service carried on through the night as the main took about 45 mins to come after the starter. Luckily it was worth the wait

7/10They seemed quite unprepared for us. We were kept waiting 10 minutes to be even met at the door. Pretty soon during this our 20th or so visit to Divot, we feared it might be the last. The food was as good as ever, though, albeit with the solomillo tataki already cooked to medium from the kitchen, when the idea is to serve raw meat formthe guests to grill at the table. Lots of room for improvement for our next visit.

7.5/10Food was really good, just like our first visit. The service was a train wreck. 30 mins to take order, and only after we asked. And the waiter that finally took the order only managed some of the drinks. The water was missed, bread came in after entre, Meat, supposed to be rare, was well done (but corrected to perfection quickly), several other forgotten orders and sloppy mistakes during our evening. A couple of waiters that really knew what they were doing, one of which was called in late from their affiliate in San Pedro, but they were fighting a losing battle in a full restaurant with too many inexperienced colleagues. All in all, not up to the price tag at this occasion but it has promise and the service should be fixable and I hope they do as it is a nice setting with good food.

8.5/10Nice environment with lovely view on the golfcourse. Friendly people, no hurry in ordering the food we had also time for social talk. The quality off the food was ok, no high cuisine but good price/quality performance.

10/10We visited four times in a period of three weeks. Two days were sunny so we sat outside by the water feature and twice the weather was poor so we sat inside. All occasions service was excellent, food was very good. Great atmosphere inside or out. Excellent choice of restaurant
