6/10Reassuringly average for a conference hotel restaurant. Had a business diner tonight, one of the starter was ridiculously small, the fish and chips and burgers were sure choice, the steak salad was cooked blue as ordered. Service was a bit forgetful but ok otherwise. It's very close to the Excel centre which some might find reassuring and others depressing.

7.5/10Great restaurant, lovely food and very attentive staff but just a mix up with bookings, I had a table for 3 booked with confirmation but they didn’t have it on their system, luckily it was quiet and they could accommodate us!

7/10Very handy & less busy before an evening performance at the Excel. We booked an early table but it wasn’t particularly busy. Good service and tasty food.

3.5/10We waited 70 mins before any food arrived. The kids were so tired by the time the food came that they hardly ate anything. They did apologise and took some money off the bill.

3/10sat for an hour and the only thing we had, had were halloumi fries which we shared. Then the mains come but the lady didn’t actually put My partners order through so my main came and his didn’t. Then when his finally came I found mold on my burger. Then had to wait ages for a new one. Bare in mind they gave NO communication and didn’t even ask for a drink refill. After about 30 mins I asked how long it would be, the man said he would check then never actually came back to give me an answer. To make things worse the chefs weren’t even wearing hats!! As a chef myself I would expect basic PPE to be worn to avoid unnecessary cross contamination. This is a 4 star hotel I expected much better!!
