8.5/10We had a great time. If you have an affection for old-school dining then this is a great place. Very relaxed atmosphere and the food was up to expectations, especially the dessert.

10/10Apart from the problem of finding a taxi from the centre of Carcassonne to get to the place everything there after was more than we’d hoped for. On arrival we were met by a warm and friendly lady got the evening going by guiding us down to the restaurant and the waiting staff who led us through the evening with great skill but friendliness as well. The food and drink were so far beyond what I was expecting that I’m not sure how we can go any better. 10/10 doesn’t do the place justice

5/10Beautiful setting but quite disappointing for this quality type restuarant. Flies in the dinning room, unnaceptable Somelier with an attitude, unnacceptable one of the server very nice and up to Par, the other one not even close. "you do not ask a table who is having X,Y,Z the team should know" you dont' come with a bread basket at the beginning of a meal and by the end the 3 choices have become one Food quality good on the fish dishes, terrible on the meat. One more thing, that quality of a restaurant should never be wearing tshirt or polo shirt . We are in France this is the back bone of the country FOOD AND RESTAURANTS !!!!!!!!!! sorry but one cannot pretend to have a 1 Michelin star and be that poor.

9/10My partner and I dined on the menu of the day with a choice of two different dishes for starter , main and dessert. Three different beautifully presented tasters wet our appetites. All the courses were beautifully presented with an excellent choice of wines to accompany them. We both like to take our time over our food with lots of talking and we have dined here several times before so the staff always give us plenty of time. No rush and always someone at hand when service is needed.. At the end of our delicious meal a plate of different flavoured marshmallows with our coffee. All in all a lovely experience and a great place for us to celebrate special occasions. Recommended with no reservations..

10/10The restaurant is in a very nice position not far from Carcassonne. We were let down by a taxi service, called the restaurant and the owner sent her daughter to pick us up. Every plate we had was excellent and the accompanying wine selection was very good. The building is very nice and has been in the same family for a long Time. Personal service is their hall-mark.

9.5/10Fantastic food and ambiance at this bigger than usual Michelin restaurant. The service was attentive but with little style, I was used to much better for standard restaurants not Michelin starred.

10/10The Michelin star is well deserved. The service, attention, cuisine and atmosphere were all five stars. Nothing was left to chance. We enjoyed the wine paired prix-fix option and it was a perfect grouping of flavors and stories about the terrior and culinary creations set before us. If you are ever in Carcassonne; you must eat here. Staying with the hotel must be even more appealing to the senses. We will be back.

10/10Certainly an excellent restaurant, as you would expect from a Michelin one-star table. Everything was perfect and our meal was absolutely delicious. The wine list is astonishing but, don't worry, there is a very professional sommelier in case you need some help to make up your mind. We enjoyed every moment of our lunch and we look forward to our next visit to benefit from the impressive garden that is certainly a delight when the weather permits to have a table on the terrace. All in all, a highly-recommended place with a delicious French cuisine. Next time, we will try to book a room to enjoy even more our stay at the Domaine D'Auriac.

9/10Beautiful restaurant with excellent food. The terrace setting is perfect for warm summer evenings but may benefit from patio heating on cooler nights.
