Absolutely exceptional dinner with great food, wonderful service and atmosphere. We had a great experience also beyond with a cellar and garden tour accompanied by the owners. A remarkable night and we will surely come back.
What a superb experience. The setting is great blend of style, chic and je ne sais quoi, with a Barbie pink wall here and there. Service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing and oppressive. We had the Traditional tasting menu which was just fantastic and as there were a couple of dishes my wife would struggle to eat they happily swapped them out for alternatives from the a la carte menu. Every course had a great balance and was beautifully presented. The accompanying wine was superb and as expected matched the course to a tee. Mostly local, and not ones I was familiar with they were a real treat. The owners and the chef all came to enquire how we were enjoying our meal, which is a nice touch as was the offer to view the wine cellar which is an experience not to be missed. This was a spur of the moment lunch due to forecast bad weather so at around 3 and half hours to complete you might prefer to wait until dinner for the tasting menu. But if you have the time (it's not fast food), the money (it's not cheap) and the ability to take a nap in the early evening afterwards this is one of the best ways to spend an afternoon if you're in the Sorrento area. Highly recommended.
Che dire ... Don Alfonso!!!
Everything you’d expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. Was so thrilled to be seated outside, I believe this added to the magic of my experience. The staff were almost over attentive at times but still an amazing experience with stunning menu and beautiful surroundings.
The entire experience is impeccable. The food is fantastic. So memorable that we cambe back 10 years apart, and will continue to do so.
it's really good, food quality, service, ambience, the fantastic garden area for dessert wine n desserts is so good, we will come back. it's well worth what they charge, although wines I like r not cheap, we.drank the cheaper ones luce 2004 at euro 200, it's not bad ????

Timing of food and wine must be better. Food was served before the sommelier had asked or served the wine. The sommelier should show the guests the wine list and recommend for different dishes. Apart from that the staff was very friendly and paid much attention. The atmosphere was very nice.

Over and beyond service and hospitality. Lovely sommelier offered a half serving for the ladies with the matched wines when we felt we couldn’t manage 8 full serves of alcohol. Senora and Don and son met us during the meal and showed us around- the wine cellar terrace and kitchen . The food and wine were superb.
The Don Alfonso Family makes the experience 10 plus!! The service coupled by the food, the attention and the ambiance makes this restaurant best gourmet expirience in Italy and among the best in Europe.
The whole experience was incredible. The family, chef, and staff are very hospitable and that adds to the experience of exquisite food.
The restaurant lived up to the amazing write up in the Marco Polo Guide to Naples and the Amalfi Coast as a gourmet food lovers delight! The food was fresh and exquisite, cooked to perfection with intriguing combinations and flavours. Service was exceptional. Be sure to ask for a tour of the wine cellar in ancient passageways, we were also shown the kitchens by the chef. The whole experience was a real treat for a special occasion. We went for a late lunch so it was quite quiet so not a huge amount of atmosphere but the venue is charming. Be aware that you will pay for the privilege though we were well aware of that and you do get what you pay for, compared to elsewhere on the Amalfi Coast where you can pay top price for average food. Would thoroughly recommend - enjoy!
