7/10This was my first time using The Fork. I saw in the map that this restaurant had 30% discount , it was a good location, and nice menu. So,I reserved the restaurant. I got an email from The fork confirming the reservation. When I got to the restaurant I asked the waitress if there was a promotion (30%), and she said yes. When I asked for the bill I found out there was no discount. The owner said I should have received the message of discount when doing the reservation. I really felt disappointed. The food was good but the service was not that good.

6/10The food is pretty average. The price was okay because we used the 30% discount from The Fork. The alcatra steak was lukewarm, and the fries were pretty disappointing because, for a cervejaria like Dote, I was expecting real fries and freshly fried potatoes. The arancinis were tasty but too mushy, and you couldn’t feel the rice grains. For dessert, we had a brownie that tasted more like a small slice of chocolate muffin that was heated in the microwave. Another thing that I didn’t like was the tip value already included on the bill, which appeared larger than the value without it. I like to tip, but the way it was presented felt like an imposition. At our table, it didn’t happen, but at the table next to us, the info was presented as: “Can I add the gratuity value?” This made the people uncomfortable and obliged to say yes. I was a little bit disappointed since I had several good experiences at Dote’s in Lisbon.

8/10Probably the best steak I have ever had. Only had two issues with the service. 1 - I had a 30% discount from the Fork that wasn’t applied on the bill. 2 - The (I am assuming) manager was very laud at complaining with staff about things. I will definitely be back as the food was great and will give it another try on a better day.

10/10Carin our server and the restaurant manager are fantastic! We have stopped in before but only for drinks so this was our first time in to eat and the food was fabulous. Several good choices to choose from both on the food and beverage menu. I highly recommend stopping in for drinks or to eat.
