Great surroundings, pleasant staff, brunch was pretty good. Sadly waffles were very dry and crispy, waiter got them replaced as he agreed they should be crisp on the outside, soft in the middle. Sadly they came back the same, precooked. Staff apologised and removed from the bill so no big deal. Would I rush back? Not for food necessarily, but the atmosphere and staff were friendly, would be great to sit outside in summer and by the fire in winter. The chef needs to up his/her game to make this place a 5star review

Loads of staff and very few customers, but unfortunately the staff were doing the best to avoid eye contact. We got seated and then waited… after 20 mins I went and asked a man doing nothing at the bar if it was now bar service. He said ‘table service’ and then ignored me. After another 10 mins it became evident we were about to leave so he walked over and took our order. The drink took another 10 mins but was an excellent cocktail. Being unable to get any further attention we could order food so we paid up and left: As we left the table next to us we’re also complaining. I can’t impress upon you how empty this bar was and how many staff there were having a jolly time with one another. This bar desperately needs leadership and some cutting focus training. It makes me so sad how shite the experience is these days

And the food and atmosphere work perfectly pleasant. I had to go to the bar to get Service as the waiters were chatting to each other. Very disappointing for this quality of restaurant
