Droop Food & Wine

Found this place on the Fork and it was nearby to our hotel with an interesting looking menu. We arrived and were thrilled with the distanced seating. Starting with our drinks, red wine and a vodka tonic, we found the entire meal to be exceptional. We had the Padron peppers and games to begin and then the sirloin and octopus for our mains. Everything was perfectly cooked and clearly prepared with pride.

Our second time at Droop and we were not disappointed — we stayed with the very appealing (and generous) tapas menu. The octopus salad is refreshing and delicious, and the potato chips are a "must have." Very approachable by-the-glass wine selections, too.

This restaurant was a good surprise. Food was very good and we had a pleasant service. We had "Tapas" and all our choices were very good in flavours and preparation.

Excellent food and service

The location is very good and easily accessible and the venue is very cosy and small enough to create an intimate vibe. Good wine and even better food. Definitely try the black pork cheeks and the chocolate mousse ???? loved this place!

The food was excellent and the service was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our beef cheeks and boar.

Me and my boyfriend dined outside the restaurant, but the sidewalk is too steep so my chair fell down and I hurt myself. Otherwise, everything was great.

Really good value restaurant particularly if booked via Tripadvisor. In only 3 days in Porto visited this restaurant twice. Lovely food on both nights and excellent service.

We had a fantastic dinner here! The prawns with garlic as starter was delicious, and the octopus for main was fantastic. I also highly recommend tiramisu as dessert - it’s unique and good.
