Fantastic food and service, we can highly recommend it. I had Scallops for entree and they were amongst the best Ive ever had, my wife had the cured salmon and it also was fantastic, we then had lamb and trout for mains and equally brilliant, the desserts we also well crafted and delicious, the service was brilliant and unintrusive.

From service to food choices and quality was amazing. The howling winds from outside did not disturb our experience.

Exceptionally delightful. From the moment you walk in the entrance you have a feel of a blissful environment. The service was absolutely wonderful. The food was second to none. They also had a pianist which brought a touch of elegance. Such a wonderful experience. Will do it again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I have never been to Echoes before but will certainly go again! The menu is a perfect size, offering around 5 entrées, 5 mains and 4 choices of dessert. The presentation was beautiful and the food superb. I ordered the tenderloin ( rare ) and was perfectly cooked. The staff are prompt without feeling rushed, very polite and well trained in service. The restaurant itself is well set out and very comfortable with beautiful views over the echo point. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is Not recommend at all! The food was ok but horrible service I have ever received. Staff was not helpful at all! Neither of the hotel receptionist nor restaurant manager! I was asked to park outside while there are available parking spaces in house. It’s fine to park outside if the hotel wants to secure parking space for their check in clients. BUT I was asked to leave while another restaurant clients could park inside the hotel without doubting ( maybe just because they’re local Aussie?). I was discriminated against by the staff. I’ve spoke to the manager to deal with this issue and he ended up with NOTHING!!!

Excellent on all counts. Main meal was warm only when delivered , not hot, which was the only disappointment. Live piano was awesome.

Echoes bar and restaurant has an amazing vista and is cheaper than Darleys restaurant, which is owed by the same people/organisation, however the service is more relaxed at echoes. The staff seemed a little perplexed when I asked for my half bottle of 2017 Pinot Noir to be decanted, which they obliged however decanting wine does not appear to be a regular occurrence as they appear to have used a carafe! This was on top of the waitress correcting me when I ordered two glasses of Moët with “two glasses of ‘Moway’….” The food at Echoes is on par with Darleys, though the wine list is better at Darleys. I had the scollop entree and the confit duck for main which was delicious and succulent. Overall, seeing as the food is very similar to Darleys (minus their wine list and $135 a head), I would save your cash and go to Echoes for $105 a head (3 course) which has an amazing vista and just be prepared for the more relaxed service.

Lovely spot. Didn’t think the dish was fresh, and the lamb was nice, but not excellent…

Came to Echoes with high expectations, and wasn't disappointed. The maitre d' made us feel welcome, and that we were in good hands. The waitstaff throughout the evening were attentive, and meal service was smooth and well-paced. The view was ... well, what you expect if you dine here and are seated near a window -- superb and uninterrupted! Main meals were cooked as requested (lamb rack - medium; Angus tenderloin - rare) and plated impeccably. Garnishes were not overblown, and complemented the dishes wonderfully (lemon balm and spiced cauliflower cream made several welcome appearances). While some flavour combinations may have appeared a little bold in writing, they delivered in experience. A lot of care has gone into this menu, from start to finish, and gives diners a very pleasing experience of modern Australian-Asian fusion. Portion sizes were spot-on. The cheesecake with sorbet was in a class of its own. The only 'downer' on the evening was being seated next to a gentleman who was savouring a cigar with his pre-dinner drink. I personally don't mind a cigar, but we didn't come to the upper Mountains looking for an anniversary dinner with smoke! That's the only place we could deduct any points. Otherwise, a very satisfying experience.
